She graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Consumer Affairs in Business with a concentration in Personal Finance. She later earned her Master’s of Science degree in Financial Planning and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and the Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor® designation.
Shortly after earning her undergraduate degree Carrie began her time with Lincoln Financial Advisors in 2004. Since then she has devoted her work to helping people understand and control the financial component of their lives. She whole-heartedly believes in the financial planning process and how it can create a clear path for people to follow. She practices similar to physicians in that she does not subscribe to providing a “prescription before diagnosis.”
Many of her clients already work with their own attorneys or accountants and turn to her to interlock various pieces of financial planning that has been done. Carrie excels at identifying coordination gaps in existing financial plans and offers strategic advice to help improve the client’s situation.
She oversees several non-profit and corporate retirement plans in addition to financial planning for individuals and their families. She specializes in financial planning for the LGBT community and investments that focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics.
Carrie is a Registered Representative with Lincoln Financial Advisors (member SIPC) and holds FINRA series 7 and 63 registrations. She is a licensed life and health insurance agent with The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company.
